Qualifications

• 0–1 year radiology department experience preferred.
• Must have ARRT certification and BLS.
• Vocational/Technical degree in Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures according to department protocols.
• Identify the patient according to hospital policy.
• Explain the exam/procedure to the patient and/or family members.
• Set up the procedure room and/or equipment for the exam.
• QA the exam on PACS before it is released for interpretation.
• Follow established radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
