Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA seeks a Technician Aide to maintain a clean, safe patient environment and support radiology services in the CT SCAN department. You will ensure rooms are stocked, cleaned between patients, and assist with routine tasks as needed.

Education requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. BLS certification is required before orientation, CPR certification bi-annually, and prior hospital experience is advantageous.

Job Description

The Technician Aide assists in maintaining a clean, safe patient and unit environment. Ensures exam rooms are adequately supplied and cleaned between patients, including wiping down injectors. Maintains neat, organized work environment. Shows initiative in performing routine tasks.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

Knowledge of Medical terminology preferred.

Previous hospital or medical office experience is preferred.

Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Qualifications
CPR Certification required bi-annually.
