Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a PACS & Radiology Information System (RIS) Analyst to support imaging workflows across physician practices and hospital imaging departments on Long Island. The role requires on-site and remote support, system configuration, and liaison work with clinical teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's and at least 3 years' experience in a progressive IT role.
• Working knowledge of radiology department policies, procedures, and operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities.
• Strong project management skills: lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to understand underlying needs and translate into system design.
• Independent and self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site and remote support contact for PACS and RIS across practices and imaging departments.
• Bridge between clinical end users, IT team, and vendor partners for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Support integration and configuration of imaging modalities, workstations, hardware/software.
• Coordinate/resolve image order management, workflow discrepancies, device performance, and system connectivity.
• Participate in system lifecycle: planning, build, testing, training, implementation, optimization, production support.
• Perform local/remote device calibration and modality integrations with clinical engineering.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues with knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and Epic Radiant build.
• Maintain documentation of specifications, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Develop and execute upgrade/implementation plans with vendors and team.
