Qualifikationen

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent, healthcare/patient care related degree or Imaging modality certification
• Minimum Experience: 1 year related clinical patient care experience or enrolled in healthcare/patient care related degree/certification
• Preferred Experience: 1-2 years related patient care experience as an imaging technologist aide/assistant supporting multiple imaging modalities, working knowledge of RIS and HIS, Medical Terminology, Customer Service Experience, Excellent Time Management skills
• Required Certification: American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider

Aufgaben

• Screen and prepare patients for imaging exams and assist with rapid patient throughput
• Safely transport patients to/from imaging rooms and position them on exam tables
• Interview/screen patients and assist with IV verification and coordination with nurses
• Complete patient-related paperwork and handle gowns and patient comfort
• Scan documents into PACS, verify exams are sent to PACS, and process image sharing requests
• Stock rooms, and help submit equipment service requests and image uploads from outside sources
