Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures under supervision of the CT/IR supervisor. Responsibilities include image processing, correct billing and documentation, and ensuring radiation safety per ALARA standards.

The role requires CRT certification in California, BLS, and experience in fluoroscopy, ER, and CT procedures. Will support the clinical team and maintain patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) per CA Public Health required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Professional required.
• Fluoroscopy, ER, portable radiography and OR experience preferred.
• ARRT CT license within 1 year of hire or training.
• Venipuncture certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners with correct scan parameters.
• Adjust KV/MA per patient and ALARA guidelines.
• Process and document imaging procedures and billing.
• Screen contrast procedures for risk factors; document in records.
• Provide patient care, education, and assist transportation to exam room.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and equipment.
