National Jewish Health in Denver, CO is seeking a Supervisor for the Institute for Advanced Biomedical Imaging. You will oversee daily operations, supervise technologists and support staff, and ensure high-quality diagnostic testing across modalities.

The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. A minimum imaging background with supervisory experience and ARRT/NMTCB credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in an Imaging department required, with 2 years in supervisory/lead role preferred.
• Current ARRT Registered Technologist and/or NMTCB Registered Technologist; Active BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and develops an effective staff with communication, leadership and resources.
• Ensures Imaging Services run smoothly, timely and effectively for all diagnostic modalities.
• Prepares staff schedules for daily activity and adjusts assignments as needed.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems, scheduling, physician and internal department issues.
• Maintains compliance with Joint Commission, State, Federal and related agencies.
• Performs diagnostic Imaging procedures as needed and acts as back-up while following radiation safety standards.
• Maintains knowledge and use of RIS/PACS systems and troubleshoots as a super user.
