Position Summary: The PM Shift Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning and organizing the daily functions of the Imaging Department. Ensures all diagnostic procedures are completed in accordance with Tenet/DHM policies. Ensures proper patient flow throughout the department in all modalities including routine x‑rays, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, ER department and OR. Ensures compliance and preparation relating to TJC and state regulations. Works with and directs all radiology students and works closely with the college in evaluating students’ performance. Oversees departmental operations in the absence of the Chief Tech and Department Director. Ensures all hospital mandated safety precautions are followed. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Education: Major: Radiological Technology
Supportive Course Work: Biology, anatomy and physiology
