The role requires strategic leadership, advanced knowledge of radiology, personnel management, budgeting, contract oversight, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in management or a science and five years of management experience in a health facility radiology department.
• Radiologic Technology program approved by AMA Council on Medical Education; ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist and California radiologic technologist certification.
• Must maintain or obtain BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the operations of the hospital Radiology services; coordinates operations with physician chairperson and medical staff.
• Develops and implements the strategic vision for the radiology department in alignment with the facility's goals.
• Oversees budget, purchasing, and contract management for imaging services.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and quality/safety programs.
• Provides education and supervision for radiology staff; supports professional development.
