Job summary

Emerus seeks an Imaging Services Program Director to design, install, plan and oversee imaging services across its facilities. The role collaborates with physicians, staff, vendors and leadership to ensure compliant operation aligned with the mission and objectives.

Essential functions include leading markets, monitoring utilization, securing facilities and equipment, and implementing improvements with site leaders and IT teams. Strong QA, regulatory and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree in Radiological/Physical Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography, required
• Current state licensure as required by the state in which practicing, required
• 5+ years’ experience working in a medical imaging environment
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a medical imaging environment with QA and regulatory requirements, strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and execution of Imaging Services operations across Emerus markets.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Rounds on Imaging Services areas to evaluate performance and resources.
• Maintains facilities, equipment and supplies for safe patient care.
• Collaborates with IT to implement RIS/PACS and network configurations.
• Coordinates with Hospital Administrators for departmental operations and budgets.
• Interacts with physicians, staff and administration to improve service quality.
• Supports radiation safety programs and incident preparedness.
• Participates in hospital committees and performance improvement activities
