Intelas, a Compass Healthcare Company, seeks an ISE I for Chicago, IL to service imaging equipment onsite. The role includes preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety inspections, with repairs and part orders within budget.

You will assist with BMET technician training and collaborate with manufacturers to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in imaging equipment repair and an associate degree or military training in electronics/imaging, with strong communication and customer

Formación

• Associates degree or military training in Electronics/Imaging Technology or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with imaging equipment manufacturers or equivalent.
• 2+ years in repair of radiology equipment or biomedical imaging.
• Specialized knowledge in modalities such as radiology, MRI, ultrasound, CT, or linear accelerators.
• CRES certification in modalities preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on imaging equipment.
• Repair by replacing defective components and readjusting to manufacturer specs; certification may be required.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging cross training of BMET Technicians.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve equipment issues.
• Provide emergency on-call responsibilities.
• Research and initiate orders for repair parts within budget.
• Document QA records and reports for compliance with specs and policies.
• Record all asset actions per department practices.
• Capable of performing all duties of a BMET III.

Position Title: ISE I- Chicago, IL

Salary: $95,000- $115,000/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations where certification may be required and electrical safety inspections on imaging and related equipment in compliance with established standards
• Perform major repairs by replacing defective components, readjust components to manufacturer’s specifications using appropriate tools and measuring instruments. May require certification in order to complete repairs
• Assist with diagnostic imaging cross training of BMET Technicians
• Confers with manufacturer’s representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment related problems
• Provide emergency on-call responsibilities
• Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working within established budget parameters
• Conducts and compiles Quality Assurance records and reports necessary for compliance with specifications and policies
• Document all significant asset related actions in compliance with department practices
• Must be capable of performing all the duties and responsibilities of a BMET III

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or military training
• Prior experience of at least two years experience with various imaging equipment manufacturers or other appropriate related experience
• Minimum of two years experience in the repair of radiology equipment and prior biomedical experience
• Should possess specialized knowledge in several specialized modalities such as radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, cath. lab., linear accelerators, etc.
• Prefer certification (CRES) in these different modalities
• Good communication and strong customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to serve "on-call" duty as required
• Must be willing to serve as a technical resource to others in areas of specialty or certification(s)
