Job summary

A healthcare recruitment firm is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer II responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating diagnostic imaging equipment. Under supervision this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.

The ISE II for this role will possess:
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Have 5+ years of imaging experience
  • Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
  • Cathlab, CArms, and Ultrasound service experience (Strongly Preferred)
Position Summary

Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate a broad range of basic diagnostic imaging and/or therapeutic radiation equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solution development.

  • Preparing required documentation and reports

  • Develops staff by teaching and mentoring others
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
MUST HAVE
  • Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
  • 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
  • 5 years of imaging experience.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
  • ECathlab, CArms, and Ultrasound service experience.
