U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Imaging Service Chief in San Antonio, TX. The role leads Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology with ongoing clinical duties.

The position emphasizes program development, policy implementation, and interdepartmental collaboration. A board-certified radiologist with leadership experience and a VA-eligible license is required.

Competenze

• Experience leading radiology departments or sections.
• Ability to oversee clinical practice and program development.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation and quality improvement processes.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership to Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology.
• Maintain active clinical Radiology practice.
• Develop policies aligned with accrediting bodies and VHA standards.
• Oversee quality improvement activities and program evaluation.
• Coordinate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services and resources.
• Manage credentialing and delineation of privileges for department staff.
• Recruitment, space planning and resource allocation.
