Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas seeks an Imaging RN to support technologists, radiologists and surgeons across imaging modalities. The role involves patient prep, education and monitoring throughout procedures in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualified candidates hold a North Carolina RN license (or compact licensure), BLS/ACLS certifications, and ideally 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, with a focus on safety and efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact (required).
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• Prefer at least 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging team across modalities and prep patients prior to procedures.
• Provide patient education and discharge teaching; monitor during procedures.
• Administer conscious sedation and ensure patient safety.
