Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a physician to provide diagnosis, prevention, and treatment for patient health concerns at Royal Oak, MI. The role includes on-call duties, collaboration with physicians and staff, and participation in quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

The physician will document care, participate in trials when applicable, and mentor trainees in a supportive, safety-focused culture. Full-time schedule with weekends and diverse shifts.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent required.
• MD or DO licensure for Michigan required.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive working relationships and promote safety, teamwork and high-quality care.
• Meet operational, financial, and patient-satisfaction goals; complete competencies and mandatory trainings.
• Assess and monitor patients' medical needs and deliver cost-effective, appropriate care.
• Communicate plan of care with patients’ families, referring physicians and hospital staff within timelines.
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage; engage in quality initiatives and process improvements.
• Support clinical trials, research projects and adherence to Safety/Quality policies.
