Job summary

Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for Imaging Solutions based in San Diego. You will own imaging category product management, coordinating with Marketing, Sales, and HQ teams to align strategy and execution.

The role requires deep imaging product knowledge or strong aptitude to develop it, plus collaboration across Business Management, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Engagement to maximize Imaging business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Engineering, Imaging, or Business-related degree.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Camera industry (Product Management, technical marketing, product training, applications engineering, or professional photography/videography).
• Strong analytical background and product savvy.
• Advanced Power Point and Editing Photo/Video proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing key strategies and coordinate/manage product launches. Optimize messaging and provide training materials for stakeholders.
• Develop briefs, demonstrations, and FAQs explaining product capabilities and relevance to photographers and creators.
• Build deep understanding of products through hands-on use, technical research, and collaboration with HQ; share insights for strategy optimization.
• Provide technical feedback and coordinate with Marketing, Service and Japan HQ teams.
• Explain products to customers at events, collect VOC, and share insights with Sony HQ for next actions.
