Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach, FL is seeking an Imaging Patient Transporter to support technologists and ensure smooth patient flow. Responsibilities include transporting patients and films, processing and copying films, and maintaining clean, stocked rooms.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, strong communication skills, and reliable teamwork. Day-to-day tasks will include using the Patient Tracking system, following safety protocols, and assisting

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Prior hospital transport experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists with patient-related functions.
• Transport patients, supplies, films, and reports to/from department.
• Process and copy films to maintain patient flow.
• Clean and stock rooms as needed.
• Operate the Patient Tracking program by phone or computer.
• Apply Standard Precautions and safety procedures.
• Notify department personnel of patient arrival.
• Coordinate procedures with patient films.
• Retrieve films or jackets as needed during staffing shortages.
• Transport crash cart for maintenance/restocking.
• Answer phones and provide efficient service; uphold customer service standards.
• Attend monthly departmental staff meetings.
