Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Tech in Miami Beach to prepare patients, execute mammographic examinations, and ensure quality control of imaging. Candidates must be ARRT registered and hold a Florida Radiographer license, along with BLS/CPR certification.

The position requires strong patient care abilities and experience in clinical settings, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of customer service in a collaborative environment.

We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:**CC017732 MS Cancer Center Breast Imaging**Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Prepares patients for examinations, e.g.: positions and executes mammographic examinations.* Reviews patient medical record(s) to verify physician's order prior to examination.* Cross trains in DEXA when work load demands to enhance radiographic skills outside assigned specialty clinical area.* Inspects images for quality, and monitors all images with respect to proper patient name, date and medical record number prior to interpretation by Radiologist.* Demonstrates competency and observes safety guidelines when operating all mammography and DEXA equipment in assigned clinical area.* Implements Standard Precautions on all patients, as directed by hospital policy.* Adjusts to variable schedules and/or procedure techniques that may be required at times.* Adheres to MSMC established Personnel Radiation dosimeter policy as observed by supervisor and as documented in department protocol.* Reports all equipment malfunctions to QC/supervisor and clinical engineering immediately.* Maintains and stocks room with proper supplies necessary to complete radiologic examinations.* Demonstrates knowledge and proper use of computer programs, particularly the EPIC system, and MRS.* Completes exam data entry on all studies performed on a daily basis, as well as any other necessary paperwork associated with each case.* Demonstrates commitment to uphold the standards of customer service and operation excellence program on a daily basis.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification + Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R) (M) and hold a current Florida General Radiographer license from the Department of HRS, Radiation Control. Mammography registered or eligible.
