Job summary

RRD in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for two shifts (6a-6p and 6p-6a) on 3 days/4 day schedules. You will operate high-resolution inkjet imaging equipment, program jobs, and maintain production logs.

The role requires advanced knowledge of digital print/inkjet imaging, color theory, and file manipulation, with opportunities to train junior operators and ensure quality and timely output. Comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup, adjustment, operating procedures.
• Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, diagnose and correct operating problems affecting quality or timeliness.
• Requires advanced knowledge of color theory and ability to adjust to customer specs.
• Excellent knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print.
• Excellent knowledge to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing per job specs.
• May instruct junior level operators on required adjustments.
• Typically, adjustments require considering symptoms, causes and remedies.
• Other duties as requested; train and communicate with other employees.

• Requires advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment
• Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function
• Requires advanced knowledge of color theory and ability to make adjustments and color corrections when operating the equipment to produce the imaging to customer specifications
• Excellent knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print
• Excellent knowledge and ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing per job specifications
• May instruct junior level operators how to complete the required corrective adjustment
• Typically, corrective adjustments performed require the operator to consider the symptom(s), possible causes and remedies
• Other duties as requested
• Train, communicate with other employees

Additional Information

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $26.25 to $34.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include [a sign-on bonus of $X,XXX], overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
