Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Clerk in Hermiston, OR to support PACS systems, imaging records, and Epic/Radiant workflows. This role partners with Diagnostic Imaging to plan imaging adoption and provides training support for superusers.

The position requires 2–3 years in hospital IT/clinical applications, EMR experience preferred, high school diploma required, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. It offers weekday scheduling and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate degree minimum in a related field (Radiologic Technology) or may substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls.
• Urgent appointment scheduling.
• Appointment reminder calls.
• Downloads of images for Histosonic patients.
• Coordinates and scheduling of IR procedures. Including sedation.
• Reschedule no-shows and cancellations.
• Create and maintain EPIC scheduling templates.
• Following up with mammography biopsy patients.
• Assist staff with getting correct orders.
• Explaining and dispensing prep kit for PET/CT patients.
• The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum).
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
