Job summary

iSono Health, a fast-growing medical device company in Sunnyvale, seeks an Imaging Engineer to drive development across imaging hardware, software, and AI-enabled algorithms. You will own critical imaging initiatives from concept to production, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring robust manufacturing transfer.

The role combines hands‑on engineering with leadership, focusing on beamforming, real‑time processing, and validated deployments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in EE, BME, CS or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on ultrasound or imaging product development.
• Strong beamforming and signal processing expertise.
• Experience with automated test frameworks for imaging systems.
• Willing to travel occasionally (15–20%) for partner meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Own imaging function end-to-end from strategy to execution.
• Lead hardware/software upgrades for ultrasound imaging systems.
• Develop and optimize beamforming algorithms and real-time processing.
• Collaborate with QA, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.
• Drive design controls, V&V and regulatory documentation.
