Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BCLS certificate.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or coordinate shift operations of the ultrasound department.
• Supervise staff in the absence of the manager.
• Promote teamwork and excellent customer service.
• Assist in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
• Perform ultrasound exams with proficiency and produce recordings for interpretation.
• Position patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
