Job summary

Katalyst CRO in Durham, NC seeks an Imaging Lab Technician to operate industrial CT scanners and imaging equipment within the Digital Engineering - CT & Imaging team, contributing to next‑generation medical product development.

You will perform basic imaging data post-processing and document analysis findings to support lab and product-development activities, while following safety and quality standards. Prior lab experience and proficiency with imaging software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Science or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial CT scanners and complementary imaging technologies.
• Assist imaging acquisition, analysis, and data processing.
• Perform basic post-processing of CT data using imaging software.
• Document results and prepare technical reports.
• Follow work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Support lab, engineering, and product-development projects.
• Create, modify, and assemble custom fixtures for scans using hand tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement of lab processes.
