Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a PACS Administrator to oversee imaging informatics systems and ensure compliance with accreditation standards (ACR, FDA, Joint Commission, CMS). The role coordinates between imaging staff, IT, billing, and other departments, provides training, and ensures optimal operation of RIS/PACS platforms.

The position includes leadership responsibilities, policy development, and ongoing support to maintain efficient imaging workflows across Methodist Health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT accredited program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Radiology or imaging informatics environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Finance to audit chargemaster for price and CPT code inconsistencies.
• Directs development of imaging informatics policies and procedures.
• Provides training and support to imaging staff on imaging systems functionality.
• Partners with Radiologists to ensure accurate content in imaging reports and coding guidelines.
