Job summary

Alliance Health System is seeking an experienced MRI Facility Manager to lead a multi-modality outpatient imaging center in Woodland Park, NJ. The role oversees MRI, X-ray, and bone densitometry operations, focusing on quality, safety, staff management, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT Radiography and MRI certifications, NJ licensure, BLS/CPR, and extensive experience in outpatient imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required.
• Active New Jersey state licensure required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Documented competency in IV contrast administration and MRI safety.
• Advanced experience in outpatient diagnostic imaging operations (MRI, X-ray, DEXA).
• Strong leadership and management experience in imaging or healthcare.
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for MRI, X-ray, and DEXA services to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Ensure imaging protocols meet radiologist requirements and accreditation standards.
• Maintain MRI safety programs, zone management, and staff competency.
• Be the clinical escalation point for image quality and protocol deviations.
• Ensure safe IV contrast administration and emergency readiness.
• Oversee quality assurance, control, and preventive maintenance for imaging equipment.
• Manage daily operations and patient flow with efficient staffing and scheduling.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and workflows for safety and compliance.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, evaluations, and professional development.
• Ensure licensure, certifications, and continuing education are up to date.
• Maintain readiness for inspections and regulatory reviews.
