Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Clinical Engineering Imaging Technician II at the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will diagnose, repair, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on imaging equipment across IR/Cath, CT, MRI and LINAC, supporting the imaging operations team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Technology is required.
• Two years of Cleveland Clinic CE Imaging Tech I experience is required or four years in imaging techs across IR/CT/MRI/LINAC equipment.
• Equivalent radiological service training may substitute for the degree.
• Radiological service training from OEM or a 3rd party is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system failures of medical imaging systems and perform repairs per manufacturer protocol and SLAs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on complex imaging systems and develop maintenance procedures.
• Complete inspections of new equipment and document in CMMS database.
• Act as an enterprise resource and provide technical expertise on assigned imaging equipment.
• Provide on-the-job cross training to fellow technicians on devices they are trained on.
• Communicate equipment readiness and service status to clinical and non-clinical caregivers with progress reports.
