Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to oversee unit-based clinical learning for imaging residents across CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.

You will recruit, train, and coach residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, monitor activities, report on effectiveness, and ensure adherence to established guidelines. ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB and BCLS certifications are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography
• Previous educator experience preferred
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for the effective and reliable delivery of unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents in their respected modality.
• Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines.
• In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents.
• Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness.

Education

AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program
