Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Imaging Assistant to support the Radiology department. You will greet patients, manage schedules, and handle clerical tasks while ensuring accurate data entry and chart maintenance.

The role includes assisting technologists and nurses in pre/post procedure activities and maintaining stock in imaging rooms. Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and strong communication skills with familiarity in medical terminology and office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Good communication and discretion with patients, staff, and the public.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, staff & the public; answer calls; schedule appointments.
• Enter patient data into computer systems and scan documents into PACS.
• Maintain patient records; ensure forms are filed and charted properly.
• Assist in pre/post procedure room preparation and ensure rooms are stocked.
