Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking an Imaging Department Assistant to provide clerical and patient interaction support within the Radiology team. The role involves handling communications, processing patients in RIS, and assisting with scheduling and records while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2–3 years in a healthcare setting; Epic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting performing similar tasks.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communications using phone and paging system.
• Process patients in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Prepare upcoming schedules as required.
• Maintain records, ensure confidentiality, follow policies.
• Assist medical staff with information retrieval.
• Transport patients to/from radiology and gowning as needed.
