Assists at the front desk. Processes patient information. Department: radiologyHours: Part-Time, 24 hours a week requiredRequired : High School Diploma, and BLS within 90 days of hirePay: based on experience, starting at $16.54/hour**Responsibilities**Determines if adequate equipment is available for use., Disinfects equipment and reports malfunctions as needed., Maintains the safety of the patient while in transit. Responsible to know what to do in case of patient emergency, i.e., call a patient code or get help when necessary., Practices safe techniques in transporting patients, oxygen and I.V.'s, Proactively prevents patient falls, maintains patient safety as first priority at all times, Provides patients with information regarding length of wait time for an appointment., Provides receptionist and general office assistance to patients, visitors and other Health System staff., Receives incoming telephone calls and directs them throughout the department.
