Job summary

University of Miami Clinic Assistant in Imaging Services is a full-time role based at the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics, Radiology Imaging UTower. You will assemble, process, and verify patient charts, greet patients, and support front desk workflows to keep the daily schedule on track.

The position requires accuracy, ability to handle confidential information, and flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends. Minimum 6 months of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Assembles, completes, and processes patients’ charts.
• Greets patients upon arrival and verifies patient information.
• Transcribes doctors’ orders, checks charts for incomplete histories and operative summaries.
• Orders unit supplies to maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Utilizes IDX RIS/PACS to track patient arrival times and advise delays to front desk.
• Directs patients to dressing room and assists with paperwork distribution.
