Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Imaging Assistant to support the patient care team at Prattville Imaging Center. The role focuses on routine and non-complex patient care tasks and helping the imaging staff, physicians, RNs and LPNs in the care process.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and either nursing assistant training or relevant healthcare experience. This is a Regular-Full time position within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or Health Occupations Program (HOSA) or completion of nursing fundamentals course or one year of patient care experience in acute care, nursing home, imaging center or home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care and support imaging center operations.
• Assist technologists, physicians, RNs, and LPNs in the patient care process.
• Work in collaboration with Registration and assume related roles as needed.
