Trinity Health in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Imaging Center Prep and Recovery. This full-time benefited position is scheduled at 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE) with a day shift, no weekends, and no holidays.

The unit operates weekdays from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm and offers 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The RN will support 22 bays in Cath Lab, Ep Lab and Interventional Radiology, performing pre-procedure checks and post-procedure monitoring,

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program (Effective January 1, 2013, all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire).
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Responsibilities

• The Imaging Center Prep and Recovery RN supports 22 bays for the Cath Lab, Ep Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Prep includes a pre-procedure checklist to verify allergies, meds and lab values, plus neuro and pulse checks, shaving, and pre-procedure antibiotics.
• Recovery includes monitoring vitals, incision sites, dressings and discharge instructions while bedrest is procedure-specific; may include post neuro, pulse and groin checks, sheath pulling.
• BLS and ACLS are required as procedures may involve mild sedation to general anesthesia.
