UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging in Butler, PA seeks a Center Manager to oversee imaging services, including contrast administration, patient flow, and staff performance. The role requires PA-C licensure and leadership experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, performance reviews, policy adherence, and process improvements to ensure top patient satisfaction and efficient operations. Location: Butler, PA; schedule: M-F, daytime hours.

Competenze

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current unrestricted Pennsylvania licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Current DEA registration if required for job duties.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• At least 3 years of experience as a licensed Physician’s Assistant.
• Business management experience.
• Knowledge of financial acumen and ability to manage P&A.
• Graduate level education.
• Ability to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically and identify trends.
• Ability to provide open, honest feedback to improve decision making.
• Ability to influence across the organization and work effectively with all levels of management.

Mansioni

• Perform patient assessments and determine appropriateness for contrast administration in accordance with established protocols and applicable regulations.
• Monitor patients receiving IV contrast.
• Evaluate and manage contrast reactions and extravasations.
• Document all contrast-related events, patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Provide clinical decision-making and support regarding contrast administration and patient safety.
• Manages center(s) within a single geographic area
• Maintains positive working relationships with joint venture partnerships, if applicable
• Acts as the owner of the P&A with responsibility for escalating issues and concerns
• Develops, reviews, and implements action plans based on financial reporting to enhance center performance
• Attends training to stay up to date on best practices and protocols
• Implements and manages the training and onboarding program for new associates
• Participates in the staff planning and hiring process for new associates
• Leads regular team and department meetings and employee one-on-ones
• Monitors and approves timecards on a daily or weekly basis
• Leads, initiates, and participates in annual performance evaluations, development and performance management of associates
• Establishes associate schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverage
• Evaluates, implements, and manages workflow and process improvements for the department
• Ensures the department has knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in place
• Supports employees ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction
• Develops methods for measuring and monitoring team and department performance
