Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support Imaging/Radiology at Unity Hospital. The role includes direct and indirect patient care, vital signs, and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for patient treatments.

The position is 20 hours per week with weekend/evening shifts. Preferred qualifications include CNA certification, Nursing Fundamentals knowledge, and prior medical assistant or PCT training experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred Nursing Fundamentals, CNA certification or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience as medical assistant/technician or PCT training program preferred.
• Customer service and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care & indirect activities to facilitate unit functioning; ensure safe and competent care addressing nutrition, skin integrity, elimination and hygiene; take vitals; maintain clean, stocked equipment and supplies.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfer of patients.
• Provide patient care services and support to meet unit needs and patient comfort.
