Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking an Imaging Assistant PRN to support registered technologists and department supervisors. You will handle clerical, scheduling, transportation, supply orders, inventory, and cleaning tasks while adhering to ALARA principles and regulatory requirements.

Under supervision of licensed technologists, you will follow the Radiation Protection Program and comply with DHEC, Joint Commission, and ACR standards to ensure patient and staff safety

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Imaging terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties and scheduling support.
• Transporting patients and equipment as needed.
• Ordering supplies and managing inventory.
• Maintaining cleanliness and regulatory compliance in imaging areas.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Imaging Assistant in works under the guidance of registered technologists and department supervisors. Duties include but are not limited to clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team. They follow the Radiation Protection Program including ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) for patients, physicians, and personnel. They follow all regulatory compliance for DHEC, Join Commission, ACR and any regulatory agency governing radiation safety.

What qualifications you need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required
• High school diploma preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
• Knowledge of Imaging terminology preferred
