Overview:

Provides direct patient care consistent with the established standard of practice, the goals of Mercy Hospital Springfield, the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy and the Mercy Code of Conduct. Responsible for supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning and patient care in Nuclear Medicine and Imaging Services as needed. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification/Registration: Current BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
  • Other: This individual must be capable of: lifting, moving, and transporting patients; continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to stressful situations; communicating effectively.
  • Equipment Used: This individual should be proficient in the basic use of computers.
