Meritus Health is seeking an Imaging Assistant Inpatient for rotating day/evening/night shifts on a 48-hour biweekly schedule. You will support the imaging team with clerical, technical, and patient-focused duties from check-in to transport.

This role requires a high school diploma and current BLS/CPR certification; prior medical setting experience is helpful. Strong computer skills, medical terminology familiarity, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a medical setting helpful but not required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required, in compliance with Meritus Health policy.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in typing, computers, and related technology; familiarity with medical terminology; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring accurate documentation and a welcoming experience.
• Assist with imaging exams and procedures under the direction of licensed staff.
• Safely transport patients to and from imaging areas, prioritizing comfort and dignity.
• Operate and navigate imaging-related equipment, computers, and software systems.
• Support multiple radiology modalities and clinical services based on operational needs.
• Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
• Maintain a calm and collaborative demeanor in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
