Job description

Salary Range:

$21.44 - $33.16/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

Position Overview

The Imaging Assistant works across all hospital-based Imaging departments and may rotate to adjacent imaging centers as needed to support patient care. This role involves facilitating patient flow, serving as a communication hub, and staying with patients during procedures. Responsibilities include managing telephone communications, assisting with patient schedules, coordinating procedure room throughput, retrieving lab results, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining supplies. The Imaging Aide must have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task, and prioritize requests to support the patient care experience. Performs other duties as assigned.

Note: There are 2 openings: 1 full-time and 1 per-diem.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience and knowledge of imaging procedures and operations preferred.

Certifications Required

• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
