Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Imaging Department Support role to assist staff and patients. You will transport patients, prep for procedures, verify identity, and perform post-procedure duties while supporting inventory and nonclinical tasks.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience; preferred 1 year in a medical/imaging office; required CPR and background clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting is preferred.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Act 34, Act 33 and Act 73 background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity.
• Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures.
• Performs post-procedural duties including discharge, room cleanup and restocking.
• Supports inventory control and nonclinical tasks as needed.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
