Logan Health in Whitefish, MT is seeking an Imaging Aide to support the Imaging Services team. The role focuses on assisting patients, ensuring safety and comfort, and aiding technologists during imaging procedures.

You will transport patients, explain procedures, verify information, and help with administrative tasks in the radiology information system. The PRN schedule offers flexibility in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire (RQI Responder CPR).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient with basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from imaging modalities and assist with transfers.
• Assist technologists and clinical staff; perform patient care tasks within scope.
• Explain exam procedures in a calm, reassuring manner to patients.
• Verify patient information and escort patients to exam areas.
• Prepare patients for imaging and assist with prep for procedures.
• Support department with administrative tasks in the radiology information system.
