Qualifications

• 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree OR 15+ years with a Bachelor's.
• SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process and exploitation products.
• Experience using SARPy and MATLAB SAR toolbox.
• Experience in RNIIRS, information theoretic-based image quality metrics and sensor metadata (graze, squint, azimuth).
• Experience exploiting SAR to determine the occurrence and location of an OOI.
• Experience developing and evaluating new algorithms using SAR imagery with Python, MATLAB, and GEE.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences on SAR.
• Deep understanding of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods.

Description

We are looking for an Expert-level TS/SCI-cleared Imagery Scientistto join our team.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree OR 15years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree OR 16years of relevant experience with an Associate’s Degree.
• Experience as a SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• Experience usingSARPyandMatlabSAR toolbox
• Experience in RNIIRS, information theoretic-based image quality metrics, SAR imagery qualitymetricsand sensor metadata (e.g., graze, squint, azimuth)
• Experience exploiting SAR todeterminethe occurrence and location of an OOI
• Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using SAR imagery with tools like Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences on availability and capabilities of SAR
• Deep understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience applying CV and ML techniques to SAR imagery and data

Security Clearance Requirement:

• ActiveTS/SCIand current CI Polygraph

Salary Range: $158,000+ based on ability to meet or exceed stated requirements
