Job summary

Masego Inc. is seeking an Expert-level TS/SCI-cleared Imagery Scientist to join our team in Springfield, VA. The role focuses on SAR imagery science, algorithm development, and exploitation to support GEOINT missions.

The ideal candidate has extensive SAR experience, proficiency with Python and MATLAB, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to varied audiences. Active TS/SCI with CI poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with extensive relevant experience as alternative
• Extensive SAR expertise including collection, phenomenology, image formation, and exploitation products
• Experience using SARPy and MATLAB SAR toolbox
• Familiar with RNIIRS, information theoretic metrics, SAR imagery quality metrics, and sensor metadata
• Experience exploiting SAR to determine occurrence and location of an Object of Interest (OOI)

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and evaluate new SAR algorithms and processes.
• Use Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine for SAR image analysis.
• Communicate SAR capabilities and availability to technical and non-technical audiences

Description

We are looking for an Expert-level TS/SCI-cleared Imagery Scientist to join our team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree OR 15years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR 16years of relevant experience with an Associate's Degree.
• Experience as a SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• Experience usingSARPyandMatlabSAR toolbox
• Experience in RNIIRS, information theoretic-based image quality metrics, SAR imagery qualitymetricsand sensor metadata (e.g., graze, squint, azimuth)
• Experience exploiting SAR todeterminethe occurrence and location of an OOI
• Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using SAR imagery with tools like Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences on availability and capabilities of SAR
• Deep understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying CV and ML techniques to SAR imagery and data

Salary Range

Salary Range : $158,000+ based on ability to meet or exceed stated requirements
