Job summary

Hathiant is seeking an IMAGERY ANALYST to evaluate the visual quality of imagery for new systems and quantify changes in product quality due to system updates. The role involves working with sensors such as PAN, IR, MSI, SAR, and FMV to ensure imagery meets required standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in imagery analysis within the IC, a related STEM degree or equivalent training, and proficiency with imagery display software (RemoteView, IEC, SOCET GXP) and common Office tools.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI with poly and pass poly within 30 days.
• 5+ years imagery analysis experience in the IC at the national level.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related STEM field; 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Attended Imagery Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or DoD equivalent.
• Knowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the intelligence collection process.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Job description

Position

We are seeking a motivated IMAGERY ANALYST. We are looking for support in evaluating the visual quality of imagery for new systems and to quantify the changes in product quality of existing products due to system changes. Candidates will need to work on various sensors (PAN, IR, MSI, SAR, FMV, etc.) and products. Knowledge or experience in imagery exploitation, artifact/anomaly identification, and quality scales (NIIRS) is a benefit to the position. This position is critical to supporting exploitation operations by improving the quality and functionality of imagery systems used by our customer.

Required Experience

• Must have the required clearance and willing to sit for and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customer's request. Contract requires TS/SCI with poly.
• 5+ years imagery analysis experience in the Intelligence Community at the national level.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program; an additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Attended either an Imagery Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or DoD equivalent.
• Knowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of RemoteView, IEC, SOCET GXP, and other imagery display software, and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing.
• Knowledge of the intelligence collection process.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, solve problems and perform in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Skillset

• Bachelors degree.
• Understanding and application of image quality standards (e.g. NIIRS), scales, metrics and image quality equations.
• Knowledge of NSG tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) image chain.
• Knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes.
