Job summary

Carle Health Imaging Scheduling Specialist I is responsible for screening, scheduling, and directing patients to imaging locations and services within the Imaging Department. The role emphasizes accurate appointment management and clear communication to ensure patients are prepared for tests.

You will handle all incoming calls, discuss imaging fees per ABN guidelines, and maintain an up-to-date department schedule, rescheduling cancellations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
• Office work experience preferred.

Receives all incoming phone calls and facilitates the scheduling of imaging procedures. Provides patients with division specific patient education materials to ensure they are prepared for scheduled tests/procedures. Conducts financial discussion with patients and/or provider's office regarding fees for imaging procedures according to ABN and pre-authorization guidelines. Maintains department patient schedule, ensures blocks are full and cancelled appointments are rescheduled.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $18.19per hour - $29.47per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
