Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking an engineer for the Mask Metrology group to develop and enhance image-based metrology software used in mask and semiconductor manufacturing. You will work on CD-SEM image analysis, implement new features, and ensure production-ready software with testing plans.

The role involves learning domain-specific metrology tools, troubleshooting, refactoring legacy code, and documenting changes. Strong C++ skills and experience with multiple platforms are required.

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in CS/EE or related field.
• 5+ years of image processing, computer vision, computational geometry or graphics.
• 5+ years as a software engineer using C++ and knowledge of design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Learn about image-based metrology tools used for mask manufacturing and lithography process development.
• Troubleshoot algorithm/software errors and performance issues.
• Maintenance/refactoring of legacy software applications.
• Manage tests, review results with stakeholders and deployment of new software versions.
• Interact with users to define new requirements and implement new analysis capabilities.
