Job summary

WAI Global is seeking an image editor to prepare product photos for e-commerce. You will work with high‑resolution .jpgs, remove backgrounds, and replace with white backgrounds using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, ensuring color accuracy in final images.

Pre-editing, editing, and post-editing tasks include verifying naming conventions and tracking progress in SmartSheet, with ongoing guidance from a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 2 years' experience with graphic design software experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-editing: Review photos prior to editing for errors in naming, orientation, missing or incorrectly shot images, and all logos, blemishes, QR codes, etc. have been removed
• Image editing - Edit and retouch photos using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; Ensure color accuracy and clarity in final images
• Post-editing: Review and approve images to confirm background was edited to 100% white are up to 'WAI standards'
• Ensure proper naming convention of images is maintained through the process
• Manage images via a tracker (SmartSheet) as source of truth for image status
• Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by supervisor

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 2 years' experience with graphic design software experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical And Functional Capabilities

• Basic knowledge of still / digital photography, and photographic principals, practices and techniques.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop.
• Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to read and follow various process documents and requirements.
