Job summary

Daifuku Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled welder for 1st shift to join our manufacturing team. The role involves welding metal parts, interpreting blueprints, selecting welding parameters, and ensuring weld quality in accordance with QMS policies. Candidates should have 3–5 years welding experience and an AWS D1.1 certification.

Ideal applicants possess strong mechanical aptitude, good teamwork, and the ability to read and follow schematics in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Certificate or Associate degree in welding.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in welding.
• AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operating welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials.
• Planning work by interpreting blueprints.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Welders join metal parts using high heat application to form permanent bonds.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials
• Planning work by interpreting blueprints
• Determining welding position and type of metal to be fused
• Selecting and setting up welding equipment
• Ensuring welds meet standards and specifications
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Certificate or Associate degree in welding
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in welding
• AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
