Job summary

Osi Vision, LLC seeks an Illustrator I/II to design visual communication materials for clients and the company. The role requires using specialized software to develop high-quality illustrations and technical drawings for multiple media.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of related education or 4 years of experience in visual communication or graphic design, with strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of college or training in visual communication or graphic design, or four years of related experience.
• Education/experience must be in visual communication or graphic design; substitutions are allowed.
• Working knowledge of design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress, PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and print-ready design preparation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly.

Job description

The Illustrator I will be responsible for the design of visual communication materials commissioned by clients, and those necessary for the company and its products. Requires use of specialized computer software to develop or work with high-quality computer illustrations, and technical drawings and support various media.

Position Requirements:

• two to four years of college or training in a related discipline, or four years of related experience. Education and/or experience must be in visual communication or graphic design with experience substituting for education, as appropriate
• Working knowledge of design programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and other multimedia software programs and applications.
• knowledge and practical use of office computer software such as Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Knowledge of how to prepare graphic designs for print.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be a U.S. Citizen.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties an Illustrator II, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
