About the Role

BFA Illustration is seeking a student employee to support the BFA Illustration Senior Show. Applicants must be seniors in the Illustration program and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidates should be able to carefully transport and handle artwork and materials, print posters, be familiar with Google Spreadsheets, and communicate responsibly with Professors Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens, the Senior Show Coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the intake of seniors’ artwork and promotional materials on Friday, March 6.
• Catalog the received student exhibition materials on Google Spreadsheets.
• Transfer artwork and exhibition materials from the Illustration Office to Kellen Gallery.
• Prepare artwork and materials for installation.
• Assist with the installation of artwork, exhibition materials, promotional cards, labels, statements, and exhibition signage to the walls.
• Create and print promotions, posters and flyers for the exhibition.
• Set up the catering for the Tuesday, March 17th opening reception.
• Assist with the de-installation of artwork and other exhibition materials.

Employment Details

Hourly rate: 21.00/hr. On‑Campus position. Employees are expected to work on campus during regularly scheduled work hours and are not eligible to work remotely.
