Salt Lake Community College invites applications for an adjunct Illustration faculty member in the Department of Visual Art & Design. The candidate will teach, design content, and evaluate students under supervision of the Associate Dean, contributing to both on-site and online instruction.

This pooled position reviews applications as openings occur; compensation is paid per instructional unit, with a minimum commitment to maintain campus presence and adhere to college policies and FERPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Five years full-time experience in the illustration industry.
• Some post-secondary (college) education experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach semester-long illustration classes.
• Design and deliver course content (including online).
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain a professional instructional environment.
